Producer Zach St. Louis talked about his reporting on Julia Mengolini, an Argentinian journalist who was targeted with multiple disturbing deepfake videos, and what he learned about how to respond if you find yourself the subject of one. I hope you never do but honestly, after some of the other stories Zach told me in this conversation, about regular people having their lives turned upside down with these, we probably all need to start thinking about this unfortunately.
